Barbie needs her strapping sidekick!

The Barbie craze has reached an absolute fever pitch as Greta Gerwig's Barbie takes over the box-office (and the world). With pretty pink visuals, a catchy soundtrack, and a clever, emotional, and absolutely hilarious script—we definitely get it! Just talking about it makes us want to whip up some Barbie-inspired recipes and buy another ticket at our nearest theater.

Oh! And we can't forget the fabulous outfits seen throughout the film (that can now also be seen on collectible Barbie movie dolls) like cowgirl chic getup and groovy disco wear. Speaking of that wonderful wardrobe, we already know Barbie costumes inspired by Margot Robbie's array of iconic ensembles will be the most popular (and correct) choice for Halloween this year, but what about Ken? He might just be Ken, but every Barbie needs her strapping sidekick! Or you can embody the dashing doll sans Barbie... you know, Mojo Dojo Casa House style. Either way, there are plenty of Ken Halloween costumes to choose from.

Whether you're planning an elaborate couples costume, gathering the guys for group costumes or just need last-minute Halloween costumes for your Halloween parties, you can definitely bring the Kenergy with these ideas. So, take a look at our shoppable costume ideas taken straight from Ryan Gosling's movie looks. There's the aforementioned cowboy costume as well as his effortlessly cool denim set, brightly striped beachwear, and of course, a faux-fur number that's worthy of its own song and dance number. Luscious blonde hair and winning smile not included!

Perhaps the most classic Ken doll costume of all is that of his beachwear! After all, apart from being Barbie's sidekick, he's famously known for his job of just "beach." Though come October 31, your job will just be "candy" or "party." No matter your plans, you'll succeed when you throw on Ken's striped matching short and shirt set. We've found pieces that are nearly identical to Gosling's film attire. And instead of lugging around his big blue surfboard, you could grab a smaller bodyboard or make your own accessory with cardboard and paint.

The only rule for this costume: You have to promise not to transform Barbie Land to Kendom. And pulling a Ryan Gosling by breaking out into song (specifically "I’m Just Ken") won't hurt either! Take on the iconic outfit by pairing an eye-catching faux fur coat with black pants and sneakers. As for the details, you'll need a black bandana, fingerless leather gloves, a pair (or two) of square sunglasses, and a big ol' horseshoe necklace. And just remember... you are Kenough!

Get ready to wrangle up some fun this Halloween in this cowboy getup that Barbie and Ken grab from a California convenience store near the Mattel headquarters. Though Ken later proclaims,"When I found out the patriarchy wasn't about horses, I lost interest anyway," that fringe finery is so worth copying. Luckily, we found a costume shirt that looks just like the real one and even comes with a pink bandana. To top it all off, you'll just need black jeans, a big western belt, white cowboy hat, and white cowboy boots.

With this funky 'fit, Ken's motto might as well be go bold or go home! The retro look seen as he and Barbie leave Barbie Land for the real world is complete with neon colors and plenty of radical patterns. You can copy it by buying a few super similar items like a Malibu print vest and shorts paired with a matching visor, bright pink tank top, and neon skating accessories. If you don't want to skate solo, this one makes for a great couples costume!

If you're looking for a Ken costume that's totally a ten... look no further than his super cool head-to-toe denim ensemble. Just look at that unbuttoned denim vest paired with jeans in the same shade. Throw on some white sneakers and you're ready to party! Bonus: You probably have most of the pieces for this one in your closet already. Outside of those personalized boxers, of course. Maybe? Either way, if you want them to complete the denim suit, you can grab some fabric markers and DIY your own to peek out from the jeans.
